During her time with the Green Lanterns in Frontier Space, she developed a yearning to become a Green Lantern, hoping to become one some day. She was mistakenly receiving the name 'Aya', after Hal misinterpreted the word A.I. She laid dormant for centuries until she was activated by Hal Jordan and Kilowog.
She was an impressive creation, but when she went out of control she was disabled and housed within the fastest ship in the galaxy. She was created by the science director Scar using a sliver of the embodiment of pure will power from the Green Lantern central battery.
